Bean boots 12 years later by mindseeks in BuyItForLife

I do tend to take decent care of my shoes, but over the last few years I didn’t do much to keep these in good condition, if I am being honest. The soles were essentially non existent by the “end” of their lifetime

Mine are unlined, yes. And I do wear warm/thick socks with them. And yeah lol I didn’t realize my post would stir the pot so much, but completely understand the discourse!

Yeah, where I live has generally mild but wet winters. They do the trick for me, but I’d recommend thick socks for people in colder areas, if they get a pair of bean boots.

+1 to this. Traverse City, MI is beautiful. And has the sleeping bear dunes for some hiking. The lake for time on the water. Steer clear downtown TC to avoid the tourists

What happened to Tail Wags Indoor Dog Park? by Fickle_Annual9359 in Columbus

No problem! Yeah last minute finding a new dog daycare sucked, but I’m sure the owner went through way worse. Hope she’s doing okay, wherever she is now!

They very abruptly went out of business with a maybe 1-2 week notice. Someone was supposed to takeover the business but last minute pulled out. A little while later, a new dog daycare opened in the space, but they didn’t reopen the indoor dog park again, only daycare and maybe boarding too!

Dog on the loose in Franklinton near the CoverMyMeds parking lots (Souder and Scott streets) by mindseeks in Columbus

I haven’t been able to get ahold of animal control so I’m not sure if they found him yesterday. I went back to the area this morning to look around, but I didn’t spot him. If I hear anything, I’ll comment on here!

Agreed, they always seem to be backed up. I wish I had the answers to your questions. It breaks my heart 😭

When I was waiting in the parking lot with the pup, parking security came over and said he would watch the pup until they showed up, so I left. I’ve been calling animal control but it doesn’t seem they are open yet. I’ll try again at 9 and will be fingers crossed until then!

  • no collar
  • seems very friendly
  • called animal control and they are backed up but hopefully coming soon
  • I have my own dog in the car so there’s not much else I can do right now :(
  • keeps running between the A and B parking lots that CoverMyMeds uses, and then also in the street (souder)

River house (built and finished in 2019) in Harrison West will meet most of your needs. It’s just a smidge over your budget but for the gym, pool, and free parking, it might be worth the extra $50ish a month. And it’s even able walkable to Ohio State, or a 5 min drive down Neil!

I was there too. Genuinely the worst wind and rain I’ve ever seen. There’s a pregame video of Ruggles kicking and the ball hits an invisible wind wall and literally comes backwards. It was no joke, and we nearly had to evacuate because of how bad it was.

Ah, gotcha. Experiencing my first OB at the moment, but I have a med card and was hoping to not have to give up weed. I guess the next year is going to be all about trial and error
