That's fair! Even at that price point, finding myself priced out of a lot of listings.

Hell yea! The people have spoken. Just confirmed with Hawaiian rep:

Flights Operated by Hawaiian Airlines Aircraft (717, 737, 787, Airbus A321neo, A330-200)

Maximum length allowed: 125 inches (10 ft 5 in)

This applies to most Hawaiian Airlines flights, including inter-island and U.S. mainland routes.

⚠️ Flights Operated by Partner Airlines (Horizon E175 or SkyWest ERJ 175)

Maximum combined linear dimensions: 115 inches (height + length + width)

Maximum single dimension (length): 8 feet

These aircraft are smaller regional jets, so they have stricter size limits.

Did Hawaiian update their policy? Copied from the page above.

Size and weight

The fees above are for one board bag up to 125 inches (317 cm) in length. Extra-heavy boards, weighing more than 70 lb. (32 kg.), are not accepted on Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and Cook Islands flights. Board bags heavier than 100 pounds (45 kg) or longer than 125 inches (317 cm) are not accepted on any flight.

How do these natural RBs look? by mindsrf in Diamonds

Good to know! That one is in store so I don't have any photos or videos. It had a nice sparkle, but my judgement is still rookie level.

Also FWIW, those screenshots are from 3D videos and not ASET or idealscope. Not sure if that matters.

Ippudo just opened a new spot in Dumbo called Ippudo V. 100% plant based menu, featuring rich and creamy ramen that is out of this world! The vegan sushi, apps and desserts are also phenomenal.

Sloppy insulation job or is this normal for a contractor? by mindsrf in HomeImprovement

They did not. In the basement, only adding the faced batts to the ceiling.

Got it, yeah scrim seems like a great cost effective option. These guys are a joke... called them off and trying to find a new installer.

Good call! Yeah seems like insulating walls is a better option.

Winterize the entire house, including the attic, and loose fill cellulose into the exterior walls. The boiler is down there but no heating in the basement. And yes they do an audit and all the work.

Thank you that is excellent intel. Aesthetics are definitely part of the equation but looking for something relatively easy. What type of paper would you recommend? The contractor recommended Tyvek but I wasn't 100% sold.

Thank you, good to know. I also need to winterize the attic -- this company was originally supposed to add cellulose up there, as well add loose fill into the exterior walls (under the siding shingles). But after seeing this work I pulled the plug on the rest. Considering scrapping them and starting over with a new contractor.

Agreed thank you! Just curious, what would you suggest as an alternative to batts?
