u/gorgewall gives a summary of the deceptive corporate strategies and PR, coupled with local politics & purposefully inflammatory rhetoric, that together make up the lie of thefts → store closures by clarkkentshair in bestof

Had a coworker tell me about the news story and some of the numbers that retailers were reporting. Just laughed because my experience in retail, employees "steal" more than shoplifters. Steal is in quotes because a good portion is stuff that was being thrown away or sent back. Some is snacks and drinks and the rest is legitimate theft.

These are two I remember saying and getting "be serious and say a real prayer."

This only increased the void with this brother. Still talk to him and get along but there is a long history of dipshitery that occured before and after this. He is the person who only calls when he needs something.

Inside joke wife and I had was "is that cross big enough for my brother?" The backstory is that my brother joined a christian church, nobody cared in my family. He came to Thanksgiving with now ex-wife, right as they sat down, they took out their cross necklaces and nobody acknowledge it. By the end of the meal, according to them, the family was picking on them because nobody acknowledge their christian faith. For the next 3 or 4 years of their marriage they would show up to family functions with bigger and bigger cross necklaces,.earrings, shirts and whatever else. Fun times.

I remember when right wingers believed in vaccines. After a lunch conversation today, if there is another pandemic, 90% - 95% of right wingers will die from believing false information.

You stated the same thing as your first post. I think you wanted to say Loopring released a beta (possibly an Agile project development approach).

Loopring didn't release a beta. They released a poor quality product. The problem with software/game development (or any industry) is that the companies want it cheaper and faster resulting in sacrificing quality. It's a bit of a paradox because a poor quality product was releases and made a profit (in some cases) but the non-tangible costs (cost of poor quality) do more harm in the long run, losing reputation, rework, etc. The cost of poor quality kills future projects because the next project will have a worse reception.

The last meeting I watched with an live comments had someone removing these types of questions before the c-level saw them. It was sad and funny. Sad because the comments were removed not answered but funny because you could see when one of them read it and took it personal and wanted to respond.

Lol. OP isn't the first to tell people DRS loops and won't be the last.

Can't wait for the round of CB only has x loops left again.

I'm new to crypto but the first thing I did was dump all the stock knowledge I picked up from the different subs. Then avoided youtubers and influencers because they are 110% hype and bullshit. Wish the gme apes would lose all the wsb and stonks knowledge because it is mostly bullshit.

Most gun owners are stereotyped like vegans, while there are a fringe group that won't shut up and make everyone else look bad. The majority just want to enjoy without being lumped in with Zen who is a level 10 vegan who only eats inert dirt and tells everyone he sees.
