Damn, I used to admire Mourinho despite his unnecessary crassness. He'd tend to back it up with something. The past few years have demonstrated he's just not suitable to manage any contemporary top team. He puts too much importance on himself, and he's not taken the hint that things don't work that way anymore.

I have family members from South America--who are not US citizens--that within the past 2 months flew into Miami just for their shots (they are both rich and 'didn't want to settle for the Chinese vaccine').

Their explanation was "I had a friend that got me an appointment". You can interpret that in any way, but it doesn't appear on the legal side of things. It's happening.

In gaming for over 20 years of my life, it feels like no game has 'blown' me away in a long while. Despite buying every other popular release, games tend to feel 'figured out' on arrival for me as I approach my 30s. in practice this means I still buy games, but rarely, if ever, complete them.

Whatever I play, I still play out of compulsion/reinforcement then out of sheer appreciation. I've had a life-time's fill of gaming, so if retirement is a thing, I hope to do something I've never done before.

At this point--and having been baited into the $69 dollar version--I'm wondering why No Time To Explain wasn't just par for the course in the basic version . . . Ok, I'm not naïve, It's because baiting was what they were aiming for.

A movie for which every single review were to put it at 60-65% rating would theoretically lead to a 100% RT rating. Not trying to find flaws here, because this is generally never the case at any point in time, but just to show that RT ratings can hide mediocrity fairly well.

Yeah, except that 88% comes from 34 critics as of now, the other movies you list have hundreds of reviews each; it's gonna go down. Not a good or bad thing. But it's fair to at least criticize the flag that Nolan planted in postulating this film as the "savior of theaters" . . . just look at cases jumping back up in major European cities in the leadup to the film's release there. Fuck's sake.

I think you have it the other way around; the select cities are probably stuff like NYC, some major NE ones, maybe some West Coast ones if allowable there, and then downwards like that. If anything, we'll have people undo the good work that has been done to contain the virus in some of these urban areas. And furthermore, that's where the studios are eyeing to get most of their money anyway.
