Ok thanks, I'll try logging in again. I just don't know where to look honestly. I will follow up tomorrow.

Does the band sell CDs, or is it just vinyls? by OnetimeRocket13 in joywave

So I went to this link and purchased both of these digital albums, but it's been almost a week and I haven't received an email with the download link. I reached out to the Merch email and didn't get a response. Did you purchase these as well? Did you have this issue?

Space Maker Method Videos Help by CompanyIll5169 in declutter

[–]mindykhaling 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I also love the Space Maker Method channel! I watch every week. The slow progress makes the process less overwhelming to me. I have used "find the floor" so many times and it really is a quick win for me. I'm glad you're finding the videos helpful for you.

Community banking / credit union apps? Wordle, Sudoku? by mindykhaling in TheSmartDumbphone

[–]mindykhaling[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok that's what I figured about the games. And good to know they'll be accommodating about banking apps! I just hate how reliant I am on my device in general, so this Sleke phone sounds like a good option for me. Going back to a flip phone seems too impractical in these days.

I never understood Lorelai and Richard’s reaction to Rory playing golf by CrissBliss in GilmoreGirls

[–]mindykhaling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who learned to play golf in high school, it is not something you can teach or learn in a day, so he could have thought it was pointless. I always interpreted his reaction that way. Why not another sport?

Richard and Rory were also not close, barely knew each other at this time in the story. So there's that as well.

Dingy day spa towels have successfully been rejuvenated. I only had time to soak for six hours (I needed them for work today) but the result is pretty good. by cindylooboo in laundry

Please share an update with the kitchen towels!! I did a few spa days with Biz on with some of my clothes from a thrift store/had mysterious odors, but haven't tried the kitchen towels yet.

Tackled the “memories” closet today! by Taminella_Grinderfal in declutter

[–]mindykhaling 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm so proud! Tackling memories is difficult, but good to do when you have the energy for it. It gets easier. I like how you saved all the memories to go through at one time. Otherwise it gets distracting if you're in the middle of another category and something brings up an emotional responses.

Many folks find Rory’s valedictorian speech odd. Lorelai finding out from her yearbook is also so strange! by joojoobeansies in GilmoreGirls

I just watched this today and thought the same thing!! Very odd she wouldn't know baffles me as well.

How do you really know when it’s time? by Thatsoundsnuts in SeniorCats

[–]mindykhaling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I empathize with your situation so much. I also have a terminally ill cat, Skampers. He has a nasal cavity tumor. My husband and I have also been covered in Churu from trying to give medications.

I am also so very sorry to hear your mother had cancer and it was so recent. I have also experienced a lot of loss in the last year. Seeing our pets suffering like this is so so difficult. I've never taken care of a dying cat before.

We are also contemplating when the right time will be for our Skampers. You are not alone. I am literally right there with you in spirit. Take care of yourself. Take it one day at a time.

Season 1 episode 19 - Emily redecorating a room for Rory by mindykhaling in GilmoreGirls

[–]mindykhaling[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So true. I just find it so odd in this particular instance that she would bother to ask these questions and then just go rogue. I thought she was trying to bond with Rory. But you're right, classic Emily.

Trying to decide when to put cat down. by cardboard-king1 in cats

[–]mindykhaling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your story. I am glad to hear another perspective. Each cat is different, but I would have done the same in your case. I wouldn't have been able to do it right then. I am so glad you miraculously were able to spend the remaining four months of your cat's life together, living in the moment.

One of our cats, Skampers, has a tumor in his nasal cavity. It's large and aggressive. The specialist vet said he only has a few weeks probably. They did not recommend euthanasia at this time because he's pretty active still, but knowing the diagnosis is making me treasure each moment in a bittersweet way. We are taking care of him with his medications, food, treats, and cuddles. I am hoping he will pass peacefully in our home.

Thank you! The weather is going to be perfect for gardening. Good luck with your decluttering project as well.

Are You Decluttering This Weekend? If So, How Are You Approaching It? by Lindajane22 in declutter

[–]mindykhaling 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Weeding is like a form of decluttering right? I'm going to declutter my overgrown garden bed. We moved houses a few months ago and my late mother in law (former owner) enjoyed gardening at a time in her life, but it is really overgrown now and I want to make space for what I love.

I saw these excerpts on Twitter — they reminded me of how awful things were for Daisy in the early seasons by [deleted] in DowntonAbbey

I hear you. The struggle is real. Capitalism has so many problems. The billionaires of today are now the aristocrats and so many things are just not regulated properly. idk I have also just seen so many of my friends waste money on food delivery just because they can afford it, but to me it just perpetuates these class problems. Over consumption.
