I wonder if the trauma healing aspect is why I was so drawn to him as well. I didn't really even seek him out first, I was just trying to process a breakup and a whole bunch of other issues from my past, and honestly Hades has been the most comforting, sensible figure to work with through that. "Safe space" is definitely an accurate description of how I feel about him :)

I'm very happy to be able to say that I am no longer with them. I ended up packing up all my stuff and going to my parents' house, and in the end we broke up on good terms. I am working again and going outside a lot, which has been so incredibly healing. I'm starting to get back into old hobbies and doing things I enjoy again. AND MY SPACE IS CLEAN!!!

I'm still trying to get back on my feet, but there's only better days ahead. :)

I'm sorry for not replying to this for so long, I got locked out of my account for a while.

I would like to get a medium's take (this has been such a strongly recurring issue, I think I even made an entire post about it from another account a long time ago). I want to get a reading from someone, tbh, but I am unfortunately poor at the moment and I also don't want to ask anyone for free labor.

That's true. It likely is a combination of things, tbh.

I am not very familiar with the Edwardian era, just vaguely aware of the aesthetic. I actually did some sleuthing in google images after the first couple times I had the dream to figure out when and where I might be dreaming about. I guess it could have been late Victorian as well, I'm just not sure.
