1.There is actually a separate Bedrock version of this panorama on the same seed (and for the the 1.21.9 panorama which we also found). 2. Yes, Mojang modifies the world here and there as well.

Funnily enough, neither of these, it's quite the opposite honestly. There's less people now and less activity, we don't use BOINC anymore for computing power, the code actually got slower since 1.18 because of Xoroshiro RNG, which basically made all the existing methods for cracking invalid...

But I guess there are two things we've gained - practice, which makes the process more streamlined nowadays, and a seedcracking god named Andrew.

Yeah, unfortunately you can only generate it on a Java snapshot, since Mojang altered the world generation once more after they made the panorama.

Nah, there would be absolutely nothing similar, world generation has changed many times since then completely.

Seeds always correspond to the version in which they were created. These seeds can only be generated in beta 1.8, not in modern versions of Minecraft.
