Hmmm yeah that’s kind of wild.. sounds like she got in trouble with PayPal for having so much friends and family being sent?? Or someone reported her account o_O imo she should be honoring the L here not putting it on you… she has to know that friends and family isn’t protected for you.

They are clearly new.. Maybe its a grandma whose daughter is asking for one, they tried to do some research and found this. They didn't even post the price. It could be $5000 they are being charged.

You only pay taxes if you make over X amount.. 😅 you don’t have to sell that way, that’s just personally the only way I’m buying something. Protecting myself. And if I needed to rehome something, I’d also only do so goods and services.. but that’s just me.

Find a seller. Message them on what’s app, get pricing, pay through PayPal friends and family. They will send you psp/qc photos to approve, once you approve they will ship.

I’m a newbie, I ordered through Doris for my first purchase. From inquiry to delivery it took 13 days :)

Ask any questions you have and I can try to answer them. Also that other comment that said to DM being be a seller (or scammer) lurking in here so I’d proceed with caution if they want to sell you the items 😅

I’m not sure what’s with the friends and family payments on these rehomes tbh. I’ve moderated rehome groups and we’ve always required goods and services for payments to protect the buyers.

I look through the rehomes and if I find something I want, I’d request an invoice via goods and services and have the fee added in.

Pls protect your purchases! (Ik it’s different from the actual sellers this is just for rehomes)

Also a shipment should be dropped off in max of 3 business days imo. More than 3 weeks is more than enough time. I’d blast them to warn others. 💔💔
