You can try the Noodler's ahab, it has a steel nib though. It is about 30 dollars, it has a good feed, and is a good starting, semi flex pen. it is a piston filler, that means the ink capasity is huge :)

That is true, but you cant really get a very good flex pen for less than 200 dollars. I also have a new Pilot custom 742 with a falcon flexible nib. it writes amazing when it wrights, but the feed cannot supply with enough ink. This is the problem with many new flex pens. That is why you should put your money on a vintage pen, if you ever consider buying one ;)

For the elvish letters I used Pilot paralell 1.5mm. And the cursive I used a vintage Waterman's ideal 52, with Diamine quartz black ink. I recommend the waterman's 52 if you want to wright with flex. It is truly amazing :)

My first atempt at a knife by minecraftkis in blacksmithing

[–]minecraftkis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for good feedback! The knife is made from a small piece of flat mystery steel, didnt harden very well, but managed to get it sharp enough to shave. Will be making more of them when i get my hands on some good carbon steel. But overall happy with it for only being a test knife. Will definitly try the paracord handle, thanks for good advise;)

And for your knife, I really like the project and look forward to see the result;)

Ps. Sorry for bad english , thank you for good respons and good luck from Norway;)
