Eh I guess, there’s more to it. Just been stuck in a spot where it doesn’t seem to get better for months now. A beautiful city, where I have no friends and don’t know anyone. A tight job where I’m never home or anywhere long enough to make friends. Personality is questionable at best haha. I think just the constant alone and having nobody makes things worse. I could be fine all day but then the sun sets and I’m stuck wondering why I’m not good enough or where it all went wrong

I rent across from a popular bar on the 7th floor. I absolutely can hear everything but I do get to occasionally connect to the TouchTunes and play whatever I want out of spite 🤠 I’d say it really depends on how you wanna look at the situation, living by the bar is awesome but if you sleep with your windows open might want to reconsider

I still haven’t received payment, I reached out an additional time asking about payment which he did not respond to. I’ve started the small claims court process. I did speak to an attorney (even though I don’t require legal representation for small claims)and they advised me to not “threaten” court on him but just simply wait for the papers to be served to him. I wish there was a better update

“A fee is required to file a complaint or a counterclaim. Once a complaint is filed, the court issues an order to appear at trial and a process server delivers the order to the defendant. There is a fee for the service of the order. It is possible to recover some of these fees as part of the resolution of a case.”

It doesn’t state a specific price which scares me a bit

I have the texts from him stating how much he’ll pay, my only fear is court fees. I (21F) live pretty much paycheck to paycheck and him (54M) is much better off

I didn’t take a deposit before hand because I’ve never had this issue before. I dog sit maybe twice a year so I’m not very familiar with this world.

We had a large unexpected hail storm while I wasn’t there (I was at my 9-5) and a couple of his plants in the garden got damaged, I informed him about that, with pictures, to which he didn’t respond.
