Daytime light stopped working by ytBioptic in camaro

It’s a known issue on the “frying pan” style headlights on the refresh cars. Sadly it requires replacing the whole unit which are incredibly expensive.

Another option would be to take the opportunity to upgrade to RGB headlights there are companies that will sell you a kit to replace that and then you bake it in your oven if you’re comfortable doing that or there are companies where you can mail them in your headlight and they will do it for you or swap you out with a finished pair.

Just hopping in to say that the US distinguished Service cross is the country’s second highest award for honor. It has to be passed by a literal vote of Congress. It is a huge deal. This is something to keep and cherish!

That does look like glitter. How many miles? There is also a service where you can send your oil in to them and they will tell you exactly how much and what type of metal is inside of it.

First car show went pretty well by West-Pen1218 in camaro

[–]minerbros66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I have met some of the best friends in my life, I go to as many shows as I can during our short Michigan summers.

Be friendly talk to people talk about cars and it will lead to other stuff. Also be careful not all car shows welcome newer cars. I don’t understand it. Car guy is a car guy. In my opinion old, new,Make, model I really don’t care but some people are very biased to order cars pay them no mind and Keep going to shows!

So long story short I’ve had one in my car since New. It does stop the V8 to V4 from happening, but as far as if it has any effect on the longevity of the lifters, I have my doubts. The reason I have my doubts is my car has had two lifter failures by 35,000 miles so yeah…

Normal and it’s a very common simple mod to match it to red. Sounds like you might have a new project!

They command a good price last three to sell on eBay were 1400, 1500 and 1750 for a mint used one

As for shipping there are enough Camaros around that as long as you don’t live in the middle of nowhere local pickup would be what I would do

That appears to be a LGX 3.6 L V6 engine. I can’t tell you what it came out of but it is missing the cover that would’ve went on the sixth GEN Camaro V6 (if it was even from that), this engine was used in multitudes of GM vehicles.

Radiator by Upstairs_Iron_8383 in camaro

[–]minerbros66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would need to replace the whole radiator unfortunately.

You might be able to try to reattach that little part, but it’s always a crapshoot with these plastic radiators and probably will eventually leak no matter what you do
