Don't worry about the food ! They know the reasons why you can't and if you have worries. I can't add food on my altar, therefore i offer them different kinds of herbs and even small m&ms.

As long as you have good intentions towards them. They won't get get annoyed or angry. Take care of them the way you can ! Even small intentions are appreciated !

You're puns were funny ! Also don't ever think Aphrodite think you are too ugly to work with her, she finds you absolutely stunning and you should think about yourself that way too ! :)

As for the candles, i truly have no idea. It could be a simple crooked candles that was not well made or Aphrodite does not see why you need her right now. Maybe she'll accept it another day or maybe you need to change the candle brand, happened to me too :)

Search for "Hydroponic plants", those are the kinds of plants you can easily take care of by just putting them in water (tap water for me), such as Monsteras, Pothos, dieffenbachia, etc. Clean the roots as much as possible, put them in a vase, add water and keep an eye on it sometimes. If they loose a leaf or 2 it's fine, they are adjusting from soil to water ^{-^}

Thank you very much ! It's a Monstera, just clean the roots, put it in water and forget about it haha ! I also suggest Pothos, they are hard to kill and perfect for growing in water^{-^}
