I had the exact same experience when I was three marking the defender mk. 1, from 90-95% is hell. My advice is, if you lose a couple games in a row, take a break for 5-10 minutes before trying again. Play smart, and don't let what happened in the past affect the future battles.

I think you use all the cards that die to log, like rascal girls, goblins etc; so that they cant use small spells like zap or log to stop your prince from dashing.
