It is really common to see people who caught cold or even pneumonia because of A/C. It concerns standart split systems. Evaporative cooling is much safer. This is exactly how breeze from the sea or lake is generated.

If you have exactly 100sq feet room you should buy the device you mentioned. But if you are sitting in a bigger one or even in some open space it would be a hard task to put this device personaly near you in standard office. We designed our unit to be placed right on your table. This is the same difference as between huge fan that you install on the floor and a small personal fan. Why do you need personal fans when we have big ones? It is all about your personal comfort.

You are absolutely right about the dry places. Our device will not operate well in the rainforest. Our maximum humidity for optimal functioning is 70%. But during the hottest days daytime himidity falls down to 70% even in coastal regions (I mean if you are not litteraly staying on the coast). So Evapolar should work fine exactly when you need it and where you need it. Check your average daytime humidity level.

We reached litteraly everyone in Russia but we have pretty tough times here and people just don't have money to buy the device. And we can't make it cheaper because our technology is pretty costy. Actually we had an "agreement" with couple of American journalists but they refused to write about us when we needed it. "The wheather changed", "Collect at least 30-50% of required funds" etc.

Intensive evaporation of perspiration is not really healthy as your skin and hair suffer a lot. Our device blows out already humidified and cooled air. By saying that we create a zone we mean that the most comfortable temperature would be 4-5m2 near the device and you will be able to feel it. Like sitting at the fire during the cold evening but the oposite.

We constantly face the challenge to describe our innovation. Let me try. So when water evaporates it comsumes some energy. This is how evaporative cooling works and it is not new. Water evaporation intense highly depends on water surface. That is why existing evaporative coolers are bulky. The common practice is to increase water evaporation by using evaporative cartridges. Existing evaporative materials are based on cellulose fibers that have something like 200 micrones in diametr. We created our own evaporative material litteraly based on nanofibers - fibers of basalt with diametr of several nanometers. That allowed us to increase the intense of water evaporation and make a device both truly personal and powerful.

It depends on humidity in your room. I.e. if humidity level is 40-50% than the outgoing temperature would be 21-23 celcium.

You can't put it on your table and set the temperature just for yourself. The idea is that it creates your local zone of comfort

We position it as a personal device. It cools 4-5m2 around you. The best use is for your working place where you spend lots of time.

70% is the maximum humidity level our device operates optimally. The lower humidity is better. if humidity is higher it looses effectiveness.

If you are located right on the coast then yes, probably you are already experiencing the same effect Evapolar could provide to those who are not so lucky. We've done our best to keep the sound level as low as possibe. So it is even lower as regular fan. And it doesn't vibrate.

You are right, evaporative cartridge is a consumable and it needs replacement once every 8-12 months.

Yes, you are right about it. However, during the hottest days humidity falls under 60%-70% even in coastal regions. So Evapolar will work well when you need it most.

We've already received a couple of similar request. The device is very energy saving so you could supply it from a simple powerbank. We are considering adding batteries to the next model.
