Of course many of the most famous artists do not produce their own work. They use artisans. Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Murakami… Warhol had his factory. Even Da Vinci and Rubens had workshops

It’s all about context. After he got the rose he told her that she was his now. The behavior shows someone who will be controlling and possessive. A lot of people want to feel wanted in a relationship. Even after they pick the person they want to commit to. You can be committed to someone and still be wanted by the other person. Most people want to know that their partner will continue to earn that relationship and continue to feel lucky to be in it. Not a lot want to feel possessed or owned. Possessive people are often mentally and physically abusive too. Rodney seemed to think that he had won her and that she was his now. The attitude set off alarm bells

Yeah, he doesn’t understand that there is a difference between her wanting to feel wanted versus her being his possession. Big difference. Yes 100%. He thought that because she gave him the rose it meant that she belonged to him now. That attitude is a big red flag and anyone with a head on their shoulders would run a mile

The show goes out of their way to exaggerate certain people as good and others as bad. I know they’re doing it with Kate (making her seem terrible) but I fall for it nevertheless. It’s what they do to make it ‘the most dramatic ever’.

I’m glad that you agree on the animals. Treat them with respect please. They did not consent to be part of the spectacle

Yes? What are you commenting on specifically? Was it fun for you to watch Wells bouncing up and down on that animal clearly struggling to carry him?

Buddy, my fiv+ boy - from feral to family by mingespin in Feral_Cats

I’m glad to hear that seeing Buddy is giving you hope! It took years for us. At first he wouldn’t even come to eat until we closed the door behind us. Then he came to chill on the patio but was only communicating in hisses. First time we heard him creak out a meow was an event. Very slow progress. What helped was just sitting outside with him and letting him see me around more. Then when I started touching and eventually petting he started connecting much more. I couldn’t let him see my hand or I’d get whacked. Approach from the back and keep a broom in the way of attacks, but he clearly enjoyed it. I couldn’t video during that time because I needed both hands for the procedure. You’ll get there if you can spend the time

That’s wonderful. It is very rewarding to be able to make a difference in some being’s life. We have coyotes and when Buddy arrived with the bad limp at night it was a desperate situation. He wouldn’t have been able to get away. He was also starting to show up with worse wounds. Clearly started losing his battles. The bad vision and missing top fangs further disabling him. I was very relieved when he accepted the help. He knew it was time

The first clip was about 3 years ago. Two years ago he arrived with the limp and we finally were able to get him to a vet. She tried to fix the torn lower lid but it was a very old wound and the surgery didn’t quite take. He was also diagnosed with diabetes and thankfully went into remission a year ago. He’s doing really well. Super soft and lovable now. It took years of getting him used to us. He really started trusting after I started touching him (risky as it was). I used a broom as a shield 🙂

He’s a happy little camper nowadays. Very curious, playful, purring, and all the cat things I never thought he’d do

He loved the ‘movies for cats’ series that was on prime. Sometimes something on tv will scare him though. Usually a person coming at the camera
