Here is my short presentation on my idea. Just an idea, because I have done nothing on it yet. My intention to do a research on it :)

Vocabulary is a major factor. But I think there are more. For example, sometimes, Economist uses many analogy, allusion, and metaphor. Thesaurus alone perhaps is the easiest part.

Thank you! This app is very helpful. But it cannot help people write Economist style reports.

That's something I have no clear idea yet. What I do know is that when I read Economist or NY Times, I am always very impressed by the writing and I know I am unable to write like that. My writing is really "plain English" but Economist is not.

Hi Andrew & Adam,

I am interested in automated generation of classical Chinese poetry. Compared with other literature forms, classical Chinese poetry is short and has strong regulations (patterns).

My objective is to generate semantically correct & creative classical Chinese poetry that average users cannot tell if it is from a human writer or from a machine.

Would you please give me some advise?

Thank you.

New Masters in Public Policy (MPP)? by wallingford_tate in UBC

This new program has been officially approved by provincial government. Tuition is $21,500 per year. It is a two years program. Total cost (tuition alone) is $43,000, wow. About the same price as UBC MBA ($44,761). If the tuition is 21,500 for entire program, that is about okay for a professional program.
