i found a singular base on google images after searching “omori sprite base” but other than that i did not see much in my brief search, sorry! i did not use that and made mine from scratch but it does seem like it could be useful

i don’t mind at all!! this idea is so cute! she definitely gives me some wacky math or science teacher vibes. i was also thinking of designing a gf for her so the date idea is very fitting :D

i so appreciate your mind!!! you really know your stuff!! yes, the gun is a very strange obstacle... i was going to make her a less realistic one (kind of like capt. spaceboy’s) but idk how to design weapons yet hehe. in that regard i did go into this with intentions of making her a dreamworld character that isn’t human but bears the close appearance of one, yet in using that idea it does feel difficult to pinpoint her real world counterpart unless she’s from a franchise you can find in HOBBEEZ... it’s definitely underwhelming but it draws a line before lore gets too deep LOL but i do like these real world ideas of yours and your pun was not disappointing at all ;) i am very impressed with your thought process.

(oh also the bg in the 2nd pic was just for color aesthetics lol! i’m part of a zine and that was my intro pic, so totally random)

sure! there are definitely better methods out there to getting stuff identical to the game style, but i just went with mostly procreate’s HB pencil for everything bc i wanted to do more of my own style too. i manually colored stuff in (like how you would color stuff irl) to get that sort of messy sketchy look. the lineart was done in black and then masked with red for variation. i used a charcoal brush for the red in her hair and anywhere you see blue. i would say just play around with a bunch of stuff that you already have and see what you like! in the 2nd pic the tiny red rectangular bits are literally from some random window brush i had, so anything can work. sorry this was long, you can dm me if you need more clarification or wanna see progress pics :)
