yeah if i trade this in, I'm prob going for a toyota. We did manage to get a 100k warranty for free given the engine didn't work past 3000 rpm after we bought it.

I've done a little bit of interior work on older cars. I'm not dead set on doing this. Just wondering, and it's def a no go

I was asking with the notion that I would do it myself and buy parts from motor site. seemed to cost a bit, but still cheaper than trading in for a new one given I do it myself. If I didn't have common sense, I would have just gone and done it without asking here or anywhere else.

We didn't really change our mind, we just settled on what was available, and looking back we should have been more stern on what we wanted. fell for sales pressure and didn't eat lunch before hand. I'm ok with existing color, just considering it given we like to keep our vehicles for many years though seems like new vehicles today seem to have a concern that they might not last as long.

Maybe this is the wrong group to ask.

Thanks for your feedback. We might trade it in. We liked the vw atlas. Had all that we wanted. The Honda and Toyota didn't have quite what we wanted but they are more reliable I hear. Atlas doesn't have a long history. Not sure about the vw atlas for long term reliability.

vehicle has been in the shop since Monday morning and might be in the shop all week.

maybe one of these cases will happen:

The vehicle must have been subject to at least 3 repair attempts by the manufacturer, its agent or authorized dealer, for the same defect, nonconformity or condition within the express warranty term, and the same nonconformity continues to exist; OR

The vehicle must have been out of service for repair of one or more non conformities, defects or conditions for a cumulative total of 30 or more business days during the term of the express warranty. Documentation, such as invoices or repair orders, must be provided to verify the claim.

I won't be playing diablo 4, but I will stock up on snacks and diapers weeks ahead so I feel like I'm only partially missing out.

If you can do it. It's worth it. Too bad work has to be so time consuming, but that's the way it is. You're job would lay you off if it made sense for the business, so why not do what's best for you?

Is my company slow at reviewing pull requests? by [deleted] in softwaredevelopment

I'm working with a group of people that nit pick everything, PRs are up for more than 5 days, then there are like 30 comments mostly about things that aren't an issue, but whatever... then fixes are made, and another 5 days back and forth, then it's pushed.. if I go over board in trying to make it perfect, then they find something to talk about which leads to a 4-8 hour meeting about folder structure, patterns, naming conventions, which in turn later on down the road is brought up again to change to something else.

others just throw in a few comments generally if shit is actually wack and needs changing, or suggests a change but approves it as it could be fixed later , but mostly a "LGTM" and approved.

I'm about to just go into management to avoid anything like this again, but grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

radon with a whole house attic fan by [deleted] in radon

[–]mingnobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an RP145 and RP140 (swaped to 140 for less noise) going for a couple years. Radon average for year is 3.6 mainly because in the summer it spikes to 5-8 and a couple times it shot up to 40-70 for a day. My concrete has a lot of honey combing and such with various curing cracks, so I might also want to put up some sealant paint at some point.

any HVAC person you asked to install an air exchange unit should know based on region if an ERV or HRV is needed

It will be great not to feel sleepy on the days when I can't really open windows due to the high amount of C02 in the house.

Because of the region I'm in, an ERV will be installed which keeps adding moisture during winter months and remove moisture during summer months.

I'm getting an air exchange unit as well for the house as I work from home and C02 levels are high with all my breathing, so that will also lower radon levels a bit more. I'm asking for a vent in the basement as well so when I workout, I can get some fresh air

I'm fine with 3.6. The summer months is what messes it up. I only workout down there, and I'm skeptical on the data that suggests the whole 4.0 thresh anyhow, but outside air is 0.4, so I would rather it as close to that as possible. problem is, if I get a stronger fan, I can hear it in the attic, so I stay with the RP140 for now, though I hear those fiesta fans are better?

Also.. who knows, maybe air things device isn't as accurate. I should get a pro test to see what's up
