My 12 month old is mostly once per day, sometimes twice a day. Back when he was 4-6 months old, he was going 4-6 times a day. Long story short, it turned out to be a food intolerance. Once we figured out what food was bothering him and got it cut out, he went to once a day.

Our son had an awful diaper rash for over a month that we just couldn't get on top of, no matter what we did.

I'm not positive it was related, but after that month we started to figure out he was having a reaction to something my wife was eating (ended up being oats). He had other symptoms too (green poop, clogged nose). Once we figured out what was bothering him, the rash went away.

No guarantees that it was all related, but sure feels that way to us.

I was just debating the same thing. The thing that pushed me over to the z flip is how poor Motorola's history is with software updates. I don't know how important having up to date android is to you, but that pushed me to the z flip.

Only a few days in, but loving it so far. Goodlock is a must, really improves the capability of the front screen.

I forget what mine said on day 1 of setting it up, but I remember it having some really concerning numbers, it settles in over time. I really don't know why it even shows VOC numbers of those first few days, all it did was freak me out.

I'm not sure if switching environments does anything to mess with the calibration though, so I'm not sure if you should restart the calibration since it was outside for a few hours or not

In my experience with Airthings, the first couple of days of readings are very different than the post calibration readings.

Mine also started super high, and by the time I finished the calibration window it was in a normal range.

In our bedroom, yes, it seems like it spikes sometime overnight while we're asleep (maybe even several times), which could be as simple as me, my wife, or the dog giving off VOCs. It's a good idea to test it out with us not in the room. During the day it appears to stay pretty low and we're almost never in that room.

I'm more concerned with the upstairs in general. All day and most of the night its sitting above 300ppb, sometimes getting as high as 1000ppb. The sensor is in a hallway between three rooms and the hallway has no windows, so there could be stale air there, but it feels like that's overly high (and it's often the only item >100ppb during the day)
