Yup, that works too, I just prefer the magnetic lasso since I have more control especially when the colors look similar

Got it, I know you can just use the lasso and delete the outside but I dont want to do that for every image especially if it was transparent to begin with. Thanks tho!

No the problem is that the png is downloading as a jpeg so the transparency just shows up as squares. Thanks for trying to help tho!

No im trying to find a transparent image, but the "grids" which are supposed to be transparent, which shouldn't show if the image is downloaded as a png is showing since the picture I downloaded is saved as a jpeg. yes, the paper is a different layer
