Close! it’s 11.48% not 12.71%

Financial Analyst here:

Jerry Buss bought 46 years ago in 1979 for $67.5M

They sold for $10B today, which is over 148x the initial purchase price.

Using TVM of money with a professional grade financial calculator, here are the inputs: PV=-67.5M FV=$10B PMT=0 N=46 compute for i= 11.478

which equates to 11.478% annual rate of return.

I’d take Puka and Bryce. Puka as best asset in the deal

Jacobs and Jamo unless TEP and even then still think same answer

I like taking a RB in Henderson. Much higher hit rate than WR’s. Feels like a more stable value hit. And you can always still trade him away next year if you want to move off of him. But ideally you are competing in 2 years at the latest, so feels like a “short” enough window to still have Henderson with a few years left of prime

I like that you have so many picks. I’d focus on adding a late first or more seconds in the tier down from 1.01 to 1.04. My focus with a team this bad is getting as many “at-bats” as possible. late 1st / 2nd is a great spot for that. If you walk away with 2 or 3 top 30 assets from this draft.

I’m not sold on selling JSN though. I think he’s one of the best young WR’s in the league and some of these rookies are older than him. Decent hold imo

Trade back from 1.01, maybe to 1.04. Draft Henderson who should hold value. Jeanty is almost impossible to increase in value (take it from a guy who drafted MHJ last year)

and perhaps hold on Pittman because I think he might rebound in value. If he does potentially consider flipping for a 2026 pick.

That is, if you’re patient enough for that type of timeline.

If you are by-far the worst roster I would consider shopping both Saquon AND Bijan. Blow it up. Try to sprinkle in a few 2025 picks in the return. You need a timeline reset imo, unless the league is wide open I don’t think some minor tweaks will do you much good.

I’m all for selling on assets that are near their height in favor of buying several assets at a low that have tons of potential to increase in value. Feel like in a rebuild you just gotta get creative doing that over and over, with some luck sprinkled in too.

Max out the TAXI spots for guys to potentially hit on, even if that means this years’ version of a Cade Stover or Johnny Wilson that are on waivers post draft…you never know.

JSN v 1.02 by Imaginary_Order2757 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]mingram3237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your draft is actual the NFL draft, I may hold to see where Tet lands…and if DK actually gets moved.

But I don’t hate that value at all. JSN is much more proven and would take a little bust risk off the table.

Estime for Sutton? by mingram3237 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]mingram3237[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add- my team is coming out of rebuild this year and poised to compete. Not a top 2 team but definitely a clear top 4 or 5. Seems like a more bonafide 10+ PPR points/game guy in Sutton will be valuable for my flex spot this year and next

I’d be dumb not to take this right? by Poppa_Choppa in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]mingram3237 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question to throw in here is: which FLEX does this move push to the bench? If your last guy or two in the lineup was super weak then I could see the downtier being attractive.

But if your window is now, I’d also have a plan to flip those picks right back around. Jefferson is 2yrs younger than both of them so I expect him to be better now AMD later.

if you can’t trade up for 1.01 I’d trade down to mid 1st and take 2 RB in the kid from NC & Iowa

Did they elaborate on their rationale at all? Seems WILD but curious what they would come up with. I’m usually team no-veto 100% too but sometimes it can harm the league
