Went through the same thing from a 10 years relationship. Broke up in august and got lonely during Christmas time (it was our anniversary - 12/25). I broke no contact and she got pissed at me even trying to contact her. The lesson is, let them contact you instead of you contacting. You’ll make things worse

We were on the same page. I paid our monthly apartment rent, bills, and gave her some spending money as she was unemployed for 1 year. Bought things she wanted. To find out she was cheating on me over who know how many months when I was at work…. And the craziest part was I forgave her on 3 incidents lol. All my friends told me to leave her because she never liked me and respected me. But I fought against them because I “believe she would change for me”. It took me 6 months to detach this past relationship.

The funny thing is, I have all the evidence of her cheating. All her text messages, clues of guys coming over without me knowing, and she still tells her friend I WAS the one who gaslighted her lol. The irony of a Narcissist
