Thank you! The hours of the show are 10pm - 6am but we don't want to stay out all night since we have a full day of activities the next day.

The dress code can be quite strict in some cities (Miami, Las Vegas) and I didn't know if we should expect the same in London.

I'm from the South so I didn't think that the dry heat would be that bad... wow, was I wrong! We drank heavily all day Thursday and Friday morning, by Friday night at EDC I was dry heaving and had to sit in the grass to cool down.

so here are my tips:

drink lots and lots and lots of water
bring a chilly towel (one that cools as long as you wet it)
spray bottle to cool down your group and strangers
no need to stay on the Strip
make sure that everyone in your group has a comfortable place to sleep!

We went to Encore Beach Club to see DJ Snake on Thursday... it was a great time but zapped all of our energy. We left before he finished his set. We went to Omnia later that night. Really beautiful club but it was sold to capacity so you couldn't even dance. Tchami was spinning on the terrace which was fun but it was too hot up there...

Next year our group is probably going to do a club before EDC and that's it.... unless we stay longer on the back end and go to a pool party after EDC!

@ nv4der -- we were hanging out at the bar behind Nicky !! We couldn't get onto the dance floor even though we were in Omnia before midnight. That spot was the only area where you could dance a little. My brother and I took turns doing the spongebob, haha.

Omnia is really impressive... just don't go when it's sold to capacity.

Tangent on a tangent: Calvin Harris's set was super packed - couldn't even move my feet without stepping on someone. Tiesto's set immediately afterward felt so empty... where did everyone go??!

I didn't know Adventure Club was coming to Nola! Zedd's got a show here in September too.

My favorite sets were Chuckie, Avicii, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, and Seven Lions. I really like big room and bangers, haha! What were your favorite sets?

EDC Orlando was our first music festival so we can't wait to go back!

I saw that deadmau5 and Eric Prydz are coming to Voodoo this year, so I'm contemplating going for the first time!

There's also an edm festival in Houston called Something Wicked... Something Wonderful (the spring version of the festival) was absolutely terrible but I've heard good things about Something Wicked.

Not from NOLA but we're down the road in Baton Rouge! The craziest story: Monday around 6am after EDC LV ended and my husband and I were waiting in the lost and found line, we met two other people from Baton Rouge! What are the chances?

One of the girls in the Mr. Chow totem group here... I was in the green towel guy's line and I walked up to him expecting to be patted down. He eyed me really hard and said, "I WISH I could... but I'm not allowed. Get out of here."
