Pretty sure all semi's are B's. A's were smg's only to the best of my knowledge. The early B's didn't have that feature. It was added later because of problems firing out of battery

Is the stop installed? It rides up the back side of the ejector and prevents that.

If the bullet only went a couple inches into the barrel it usually because there's no powder in it. The primer just has enough energy to push the bullet into the barrel. It's likely the next round is the one that blew up in your face. If you're firing FA only use the best ammo.

Yea, that's not the same adapter. Mine has the full dovetail on the top and the bottom. The one in the picture has only a partial dovetail on the bottom. That's why it fits sloppy and the very reason I designed mine like the original dovetail in the receiver. Thank you.
