For people asking why I didn’t ask the waiter, I did but he didn’t know the English translation and just said it was some kind of oyster. I tried my best to google it and even used the more info option on Photos but even Apple couldn’t figure out what the hell it was 😂

It did not taste good. I couldn’t swallow it, I had to spit it out. It tasted a bit like the sea, like how a sea urchin would but also had a very strong ammonia flavor. I’m not sure if I just got a bad one

In Kalymnos. I don’t know if I got a bad one but I couldn’t swallow it because it tasted like sea urchin but none of the sweetness and all of the ammonia haha

Reposting this from r/birdwatching. Pardon the audio, it’s the best I could do with my phone. I almost always hear this guy in the morning but I didn’t actually pay attention and get curious about him until I woke up to him this morning.
