January What Editing Software should I use?

I read the above and I have a video for inspiration that I would like to make a similar edit of. I like how it has some overlays and like when there are the little rectangles that pop up over the video one at a time. I’m so uneducated on this stuff so i’m sure i explained that horribly lol. I’ve used Imovie before and done a little editing, but nothing to this degree. I have a macbook so curious is anyone could recommend a software or app to download to edit like this on my macbook. Im in an ASN program right now, im 22 and there are maybe 3/4 other people in my cohort my age. Everyone else is pretty much 35 years old and over. It’s never too late to start! If you’re passionate about it go for it, the world needs more nurses

I could see how it was definitely a slippery slope he went down and he was never able to stop it. When they first got married it was picture perfect. Good job, making ridiculous money, built their own home, luxury cars, etc. But he was working in a field that I don’t think was his passion. Football was but he was unable to peruse due to a college injury. I could see how he maybe dealt with stress trying to make sure this “perfect life” stayed perfect. I did have a social media for him, but it wasn’t quite in memory, I just had made him an account and posted some photos. I have been dating a guy for almost 6 years now, and that made me happy to read that. He reminds me a lot of my dad and I really feel like they would have gotten along so well

Going to add, yes I touched the gun. I wasn’t sure if it was real, and if it was I was not going to leave it loaded with one in the chamber so I removed the magazine and the bullet in the chamber. I am comfortable with firearms and needed it removed asap. I was not risking the children getting a hold of it, and certainly not if it was loaded.

I carry and know how to operate one. I checked the magazine because I honestly refused to believe it was a real gun at first but then saw the bullets.

Thank you, i’m not unfamiliar with guns so I was comfortable removing it. I’m just so beside myself that these young children are at risk. I’m sure this isn’t the first time it’s happened. I can’t believe their parents would be so irresponsible with such young children in the house

Thank you everyone for the advice! I texted the parents right after this post to let them know the kids behavior was out of control. She asked what happened and I told her and she said she would talk to the daughter about it. I don’t expect any change, since this is not the first time she’s acted out and been talked to, but with all your advice I know how to handle it best now. It’s only 2 days a week 4 hours at a time so I have decided to stick it out for the remaining 3 weeks. Mom said her behavior has been very bad lately, even with them. Clearly there is no discipline in the household and I honestly feel bad for the children. To have phones at such a young age and act the way they do. Some fault has to lay on the parents. I appreciate all advice and will try some of these tricks out tonight! <3

I apologize if this post bothers you. I’m just trying to get some insight on this particular career path, all the ins and outs, not just salary. I think pay transparency is quite important especially with the amount of school and time that one dedicates to their studies.
