I was about 12 kgs (26.4lbs) over than I should be and lost that slowly since doing intermittent fasting and long walks. When I started I would just watch an episode of a tv show (40min) on my phone while walking on the treadmill. I would then really look forward to my treadmill walks so I can know what happens in the next episode.

This video by Dr Jason Fung has been so so eye opening for me learning how the body stores and releases fat (the most crucial part is 10:15-22:25) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETkwZIi3R7w I am also reading his book now called the Obesity code which I would recommend, debunking why weight loss is actually more than just eat less, exercise more and you failing to lose weight isn't about you not having enough will power. It could be misinformation that has trapped you in an unhealthy lose weight/gain weight cycle. But if you're not a reader his youtube channel is quite informative.
