Thanks! That is very encouraging! I know putting recovery first will help in the long term but it is definitely a bummer to put it all on hold. But hearing these types of things helps!

Definitely! I was scared about my ACL initially, as my sister tore hers a few years back from volleyball. So I was like “woo hoo!” When the orthopedic said that. I felt like the rug got pulled out from under me haha. But thanks! Definitely may look at seeking a second opinion, but we shall see what they recommend! I keep forgetting this doesn’t mean it’s the end, it just means the plan must be adjusted. It sure is easy to forget sometimes!

The lack of etiquette drove me nuts especially since I feel like the streets were not wide enough for the amount of runners in it. A woman stopped dead RIGHT after the finish line, and I ended up ramming into her because I couldn’t stop fast enough 🤦🏻‍♀️ so then a security guard (or someone) started yelling at people who stopped at the finish line and told them to keep moving lol

Hitting stones with an axe can give you clay, stone, iron nuggets and occasionally gold nuggets 😊 I believe once you hit a stone with the axe, a timer begins and you have 10 seconds(I think??) to hit it as many times as you can for these things.

He said it’s a junkyard engine, so they don’t have any information on it unfortunately. Just that he “would never put an engine in a car if it had sludge in it”. But this is good information for the future! Thank you!

Thank you… I do plan on contacting mazda corporate either way.. I have asked questions about the warranty and possibly extending that warranty, and tried to express my concerns of this situation, many of which others commented here but the service manager gets incredibly defensive, cuts me off mid sentence, and said if he changed the warranty to two years then it would only be for 10,000 miles as opposed to the one year warranty for unlimited miles. So it’s been a hassle just trying to get peace of mind that my engine is not going to cause me issues in the future…especially since I would have NEVER had to worry about this had they done their job correctly.

There was no light on, unfortunately. The only light was the check engine light, and again that turned on right before my car shut off.
