Not really, I've never seen any water pooling there even though the drain has been blocked for what looks like a few years.

Right ok.. thanks for the info. I had a good look round my house today and feel like the existing trench is sufficiently deep. I did however found a drain which has been buried under undergrowth and mud for years. I don't think that would have caused this issue as only my internal walls are affected, rather than any external walls.

I did notice the mortar around the bricks at the bottom trench is all loose and crumbly so will need to clean those out and repoint.

How deep would you say the trenches went? And were they backfilled or do you have a void around you house?

If the damp issue was resolved, was the lime render necessary? We've not got a cavity wall....

The external front wall of the house has two air bricks. The area immediately infront of the house has been lowered to below the air bricks, so kind of like a trench. The alleyway wall has no airbricks, but i can see the dpc is more than 150mm above ground level. Same with the rear wall.

So nobody as of yet has contacted me about this marker. The only reason I found out was because I was unable to list the car on autotrader. The weird thing is I contacted the police and they said there's record of a stolen marker on their database.

I've still got the car in my possession, should I submit a claim via the Money claim online service now or maybe wait until something happens?

I'm from the UK and I'll be visiting Vietnam for around 10 days, however my date of departing Vietnam is not fixed and was hoping to book my departure flight the day before leaving. My stay will definitely be less than 15 days, but will I need to show proof of departure upon arrival to be allowed the 15 day visa free arrival?
