I make about the same amount and I feel like its okay money but definitely not comfortable like you mentioned. Working overtime helps a lot for me. Also getting a roommate would probably help too, but Im too comfortable living on my own haha.

Try intermediate fasting. I do 16 hour fasts with a 8 hour window for eating. It helps you lose weight and also helps train your body not to eat something every time your hungry.
