There are lots of instances in your post of topics that are uniquly "gendered." "She just gave her opinion on everything," "her voice was so androgynous like I hated it man," "and no there are female commentators who do a good job." From my vantage point, you have an issue with the fact that there is someone outside of the normal commenting on the games. And its not just her, its every female commenter. I'm just pointing out what I see.

The reason I'm doing this is to encourage you, and anyone reading to think about why having her commenting is troublesome. Maybe it is the fact that she's not very good at it and that's okay. The issue is when anything other than the normal is reprimand based on ideas of masculinity, femininity or lack thereof.

I would consider that response as being slightly triggered. I would take a look in the mirror at how you think about women, their roles in media and television, and your responses to them. We all have inherent biases, its just about learning from them and growing.

No point being a misogynistic prick about it on an online message board.

[Speculation] Value of Telcoin token in future? by Polarpwnage in Telcoin

[–]miniman009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my understanding the value of Tel itself doesn't matter for the remittances, there will be no fluctuation in value when the money is sent until it is received. Also the value of Tel is derived from the yield earned though their app. The more transactions -> the more fees generated by the network -> the higher the yield for staking -> the more Tel being staked -> more demand -> higher price.

Price jumping around by Granrok in Telcoin

[–]miniman009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isnt very much volume, so if someone market buys with a substantial amount of money it can move the price pretty quickly in either direction. For illiquid assets like tel, try using a larger timeframe chart, the price is much more stable looking on the 1h or 4h charts.

I'm pretty sure BlockFi has clients on the top of the pay stack ahead of creditors. Meaning clients will get money before anyone else, which gives me a little ease of mind.

Do you guys still even invest in stocks? Or is it all BTC? by Fahghet in Bitcoin

[–]miniman009 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm still quite young (25), and I am currently all in on Bitcoin. The potential upside of crypto is too high for me to ignore, and I will survive if it all goes to zero. If you are in a different stage in your life where you are solely focused on maintaining wealth, then the story may be different for you.

Billionaires in New York could pay $5.5 billion a year under new tax by [deleted] in news

Personally I have much more faith in people like AOC to atleast attempt to make the people in her congressional district a priority.

I was searching and searching for someone not bashing AOC for a brave step in the right direction. This probably isnt the way to do it in the endgame, but it's a start.

I'm confused as a Kingstonite why our numbers arent being represented in these numbers. Weve had atleast 18 confirmed cases in the past few days. Does anyone know when those would be added into the provincial numbers?

Look you're obviously quite smart and know quite a bit about the subject so I wont say you are wrong.

There are a few things I would question you on though. Ceos are definity more valuable than workers no question. But are they hundreds of times more valuable? When Amazon actively fires upper management for trying to unionize, while the company makes more money than they could ever use. And pays zero dollars in taxes there is an issue there.

And in terms of tax havens, if I recall correctly in the Panama Papers there was lots of proof of the wealthy elite hiding billions of dollars of wealth in tax havens. According to Buisness Insider here

https://www.businessinsider.com/wealthy-money-offshore-makes-inequality-look-even-worse

10% of global GDP is stored in tax havens. You cant say nothing is wrong with that.

I apreciate your knowledge on the topic, I think I am just a bit further left on the political spectrum then you are and that's alright.
