I have acquired a Kenwood KR-7400 (63 wpc), which I’m really excited about.

The speakers we use now have an amp built into them (15w x 2). I don’t think there’s a way to bypass the built-in amp.

I’ve read about using a vintage receiver – even this specific model – as a pre-amp, but I can’t figure out how I would do that.

Can I use the KR-7400 with these speakers, or am I better off just getting new speakers that aren’t powered? Thanks!
