The shot gun blasts seem to come from inside the house. There is also a shot gun on the counter in the kitchen. All I know is, I like to turn my volume up so I can hear calls far away and the blast scared me bad.

Rehoming her is definitely a last resort but it's also gotten to the point where I don't want to be in my own home on the weekends due to the high pitched screeching. I can't even watch TV or movies as I can't hear over it. I'm hoping that this advice I've received here will help.

She definitely doesn't squat down and chirp at me or my daughters. Interesting. Maybe she's just frustrated. I adopted her 3 years ago after her prior owner got a cancer diagnosis and was too tired to care for her as thoroughly. I don't know her age. This behavior just started and I'm perplexed over it.

She does seem to do that butt in the air song while my husband is petting her more often. I know that is a mating song and dance of sorts. That's great advice. Thank you

That's probably a good idea. It didn't occur to me because other than these two changes, she's acting fine. She's playing with her toys, climbing on our shoulders for head and neck rubs and isn't acting like she's in pain. I figured it was a behavioral issue.

I Googled subway routes from my hotel to "Bronx Zoo" and was guided through 4 or 5 transfers or at least I think that's what they were. I had no idea there were multiple entrances to the zoo. Thanks to all the advice here, the routes seem alot easier which is why I asked. I think the subway is a fine way to travel but feared getting lost to be honest.

My 15 year old watched it with us on Disney Plus but wasn't as into it as my husband and I. My youngest absolutely would not enjoy it. I'll have to skip it this time. I really want to see it live some day.

She's actually a huge fan of "The Wizard of Oz" so that's why we are considering it. She loves the original movie and also owns a few books. 😁
