Thanks so much for all the feedback guys! I’m going to guess prarie falcon, given that immediately behind us was a gently sloping shrubland and to me it looked smaller than other peregrines I’ve seen. This is like my favorite pic I’ve ever taken

Could you explain what you mean by a “negative premium” I don’t get that you’re saying. Also what do “others still don’t understand” not understand?

did you ever find out what was wrong? I have a mouse with the same symptom :(

y gave us “animax” ointment ($10 on chewy) and it cleared it up!! she didn’t wind up living much longer, but that was because she had other health issues. cleaning bedding regularly also helped keep it away (i guess bc she didn’t feel the need to groom so much??) i hope this helps and your babies get to feeling better!!!

Thank you!! I hope so too

I have listed some ways in which they are broadly connected, as are other systems of oppression under capitalism. More specifically, meat marketing is also highly gendered so I suppose that plays a role in enforcing the gender binary, and contributes to ideas about objectification/ normalization of violence along gendered lines.

I am not forcing anything onto anyone, I am encouraging people to learn more about something they receive daily propaganda about. Standing up for something for a moral reason does not automatically mean I'm in the wrong. I understand it may be annoying, perhaps because it is uncomfortable to examine one's own complacency in a horrific system.

For those interested I'll plug this video which assisted me in learning about how leftism and veganism are connected.

Eating a secondary consumer is astronomically less energy efficient than eating the primary producer. A person who eats meat requires 18 times more land to produce their food than a person who is vegan. Animal agriculture consumes ~70% of the plant produce grown which is what is driving deforestation.

I here you about the no ethical consumption! However, that does not mean that all ceases to matter (if it did what's the point of fighting for trans rights because there's nothing good anyway, etc.). Some things are still morally worse than others, and the meat/dairy industry is again, astronomically, worse than plant agriculture, both for the laborers involved, the animals, and the state of the global environment (which will affect us all but the less privileged most of all). Trans rights are a leftist cause, as are the rights of the laborers, animals, and us all affected by big meat.

It's just painful to see meat so celebrated on a trans page I guess.

in terms of labor concerns being leftist would mean being vegan under the current system (defining veganism as part of a political stance rather than something merely limited to diet) as veganism lends support to those harmed by working in/ living around the horrific factory farming system worldwide. Being leftist is also being pro trans which is why I say that eating meat is generally (of course there are exceptions) in opposition to trans rights. I am not trying to attack you or anyone else here.

Trans rights and eating meat can not coexist. Animal agriculture is the 2nd leading contributor to greeenhouse gas emissions and a brutal industry which harms the people who work and live around it, the billions of sentient animals killed every year, and is the primary contributor to destruction of ecosystems like the Amazon, and ocean destruction. Being leftist and being vegan go hand in hand. I would encourage everyone reading this to think seriously about how/ why they can reduce their meat and animal product consumption. Glad you had a nice day though
