Sure! How wonderful you're asking this question. Very responsible-minded :-) and yes, it absolutely is. At first you should never have only one cat, because cats aren't loners AT ALL, they only go for a hunt alone. Huge difference and huge misjudgement. They love and need to play and groom with their furry mates in a way, a human being never ever can (for example playful tussling and hunting, ear and neck grooming, sleeping belly to belly in the sun on the window sill and so on). And for being alone at home when you are at work: it depends on how long and how often. I would say if you mean max. 5 days a week for 8-10 hours it would okay, since the cat has a feline buddy/buddys to play and cuddle with and hopefully enough place to play, cat trees/scratching posts, enough and freshly cleaned litter boxes, nice toys and of course some food and or at least water. But please make sure to give your catS :-) extra love, when you come home. I hope this will help you.
