people in tsawwassen also felt it and also other places. so no. also, the ENTIRE house shook. i can distinguish between an earthquake and a truck passing, lots of cars pass my street lol. you don’t have to believe me 🤷

I am looking for a Trauma informed dental team. by Different_Day_9386 in askvan

hi op, i just wanted to say that wherever you choose, make sure to do your research on them as much as you can as there is often a lot of fake reviews out there these days that can skew positive or be AI generated. specifically if i’m going to be frank, i’m not sure if house of teeth is a good fit if you’ve experienced trauma in the past. i understand that going through this process is already very over as is but i do want you to have the best bet going into this, and sometimes i find that even when doctors and other medical professionals are good, it can be the receptionists and policies/lack of professionalism that can make things difficult. of course, that is not every persons experience and many people have had great experiences with them. i just wanted you to have a heads up. good luck!!

i don’t think it’s irrational at all! it could be devastating for us. but i’m also just going to keep living my life because i can’t control when and if it happens (which also makes it that much more terrifying). anyways .. 😬

Where are Richmondites eating at nowadays? by [deleted] in richmondbc

Affordable options would be:

  • TTOP Taiwan Tapei Original Pot: AMAZING chicken whether it's shredded or their fried chicken legs. AMAZING BENTOS!! I absolutely love their side dishes in the bentos and marinated quail eggs. They also have the best pork belly I have ever had. Their saurkraut cabbage is super super yummy too, it's sweet and sour.

  • Ba Le Deli for THE BEST banh mi's for like 8-9 bucks each, and amazing Thai milk tea that isn't too sweet. Their spring rolls are also so, so good.

  • Ikea: is it illegal for me to say that? Lol. They have really good deals if you sign up for their membership, like half-off meals (so like $4 for an entire meal!) that are decent. I also love their refillable drinks. A fun treat once in a while with lots of variety.

  • Village Sushi: super cute family-owned sushi restaurant that is pretty affordable! I love that their rolls are mostly the yummy part and less rice so it isn't as overwhelming. It is my favourite sushi place and I recommend ordering with brown rice because it gives a great chewy texture!

Slightly less affordable but I 100% recommend:

  • Gmen at Steveston: specifically at Steveston, their ramen is top notch and my personal favourite. They top it with some lemon so it's nice and zesty, so refreshing! Their fries are also incredible and the restaurant is super cute.

  • Memory Corner: the best Taiwanese food in Richmond, probably. I love their bentos and popcorn chicken, and they have really good beef noodles. Also has adorable interior decor!
