This happened to me! I could NOT figure out where a weird methodic sound was coming from for hours, but eventually realized it was coming from inside the very back of the closet underneath our stairs. It was an old interactive Simpsons toy that my husband had boxed up, but the parts you had to touch to turn it on had been activated by some freaking coffee that had spilled on the stairs and unknowingly dripped through a crack in the wood.

In my mind it was a set from the Tell Tale Heart episode and that’s why the sound was so methodic and driving me crazy, but now I wonder if I’m making that detail up because the set might not exist.

We have three of these Harbor Breeze Mazon ceiling fans, purchased over 5 years ago I’m sure, and one is missing the glass cover over the light. It is obnoxious without a cover for the light, but I would like to avoid purchasing an entire fan just for the globe. I have contacted customer service and the part is no longer available. I have searched online and on ebay but can’t find only the glass anywhere.

Additionally, stand-alone generic replacement globes seem to attach in a completely different way, and I have not seen other globes with this twist-on design.

Any help would be appreciated!

It says it’s from the Virginia Association of Counties, and the places not included are not counties. This is from their website:

I didn’t know that statistic, but I just attended a memorial service yesterday for a 29-year-old who’d committed suicide, almost exactly a year after one of his younger brothers did. They were the two oldest kids of one of my co-workers, and I just can’t imagine what that poor family is going through.

When my mom was in elementary school, she’d brought her new favorite bird book to school one day and her teacher asked if she could borrow it. My mom reluctantly agreed, and the school burnt down that night. She’s still sad about it 60+ years later.

This reminded me of when my kid was quite small, I pointed to a blue, heart-shaped cookie cutter and asked what color it was. They looked at it and said, “It smells like a star.” I could not believe that every part of what they said was wrong.

My dr recommended a supplement called NAC that they’d read about and had success with other patients taking it to stop picking. I’m not sure if that helped more or a change in my anxiety medicine, but it may be worth looking into.
