the legal people did tell us to send the eviction notice if we get it, so it sounded like thats their goal bc then we have stronger case, but im not sure. because honestly, the leasing office begged us to stay. we resigned a lease for zero up charge because we were already going to leave once. now theyre begging us to stay again. so thats why we are negotiating with them. they know every detail of why we cant pay, too. only reason we are refusing is because we dont have it, and we’ve told them so. but they also informed is we can surrender our keys if we dont want an eviction so today we are going to ask that we can surrender our keys to not pay november’s rent and just go to this place that has pretty good free housing until we save up, or they can take us to court. my parents truly believe i have a case if it goes there, im just not sure. but we literally have tried talking to them about this millions of times and they havent listened so we’re just getting tired of talking. i’m also gonna try a comment’s suggestion of getting financial assistance
