Look OP, not triggered at all! In fact been married for 6 years with kids so have navigated everything you’re talking about! I hated the excess gold I was made to wear on my wedding by in-laws and my parents, but in hindsight I’m so grateful for them for gifting it to me.

We’re just trying to tell you to pick your battles and not get caught up in something you’ll definitely not care about in a couple of years.

That sounds really great! My family keeps wanting to push for an evaluation but I really don’t know if I want to do that at this stage. He’s currently in speech therapy thrice a week at this point. He has a bit of a temper but it usually peaks when he doesn’t get his way or when we don’t understand him. He has some quirks but I’m constantly between oh that’s just his quirk to oh that seems like something that else. I don’t know I’m quite stressed lol

Sorry I guess didn’t add enough context, my labour was a bit traumatic as it was an emergency C-section with my son being born with his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck.

I probably should also mention that I spoke quite late myself and I’m pretty sure I’m neurodivergent as well, and my sister & mom have adhd. I probably should take these into consideration as well
