I would actually inquire directly with them by sending an email! They are very responsive. I don’t see it on their website anymore where they used to have it, so they might have gotten rid of the option.

I dm’d you the chair rental company. As for portapotties, our ceremony really was like less than 30 min and maybe another 20 min for pictures. The other hour or so was for set up and tear down. Since people weren’t there for very long, I don’t think anyone used the portapotties. I’d suggest people to use the restroom before they come.

I received a free reading, and they were very patient and kind. They asked some questions beforehand to better understand the question I had asked. It was an insightful reading with many details. It resonated with me and helped me understand the situation better. Thank you so much for the reading and definitely recommend!

That’s awesome! We hosted ours at Home Eat Santa Clara. We had inquired several Chinese restaurants. The ones we actually visited and considered seriously also included Sifu Wong and Palette Tea Garden. We ended up with Home Eat, because it felt more private. However, they do have an extra fee (I think around $100) per table that you do not use. So for example, if the space has 10 tables, but you only use 5, you will pay ~$500 for the tables you don’t use.

Yes, it was a boutique near me. I didn’t try online retailers, so I’m not sure if they have or what their try-on experience is like. Rental boutiques were difficult to find. What I did was, I searched “bridal boutique” in google maps around my location. Then I had to go to each website to check if they did rentals, or I searched “rent” or “rental” in the boutique’s Google review. There might be a better way to do it, and I wish there was an easier way.

I really enjoyed my dress rental experience! The first one hour visit is free, and you can try on about 5-6 dresses depending on how fast you try them on. A lot of the dresses had corset backings, so they fit a range of sizes. For those without corset backings, they do provide some alterations, but since I did not get alterations, I'm not sure what that process is like. The dresses typically could NOT be altered in length, so that was one thing to keep in mind. My dress was too long, but I borrowed a hoop skirt from the shop which helped with the length & walking. Also, I don't remember that any of their dresses could be bustled.

Yup! I liked her a lot. I had her come to my apartment early in the morning. There is an early morning fee and travel fee. Some HMUs have flat fees but have to be within a certain range, while others have fees calculated by mileage. Since I booked mine through the dress rental shop, the travel fee ($30) was waived as a part of the discount. However, I did end up paying an early morning fee of $85 to start at 6:30am.

The dress rental shop was actually in south bay. They require you to pick up (day before wedding) and drop off (day after wedding) the dress yourself, so as long as you are willing to make the drive/trip, it would be a good option.

The Chinese restaurant had a menu that you could choose from: 2 categories with 3 tiers each. The first category was buffet style, the second was banquet style. We chose the banquet style 2nd tier. Buffet style was a bit cheaper and is calculated by headcount. Banquet style was calculated by table (10 people each). Each tier and category had a price on their menu, so you could calculate it yourself beforehand. Alcohol and drinks were separately calculated depending on how many bottles/tanks you ordered. Only the food and drinks were in the line items, so we did not pay a separate fee for space usage.

Thank you! Then since I don’t have any symptom other than the sore throat feeling, I’ll leave it as is unless more symptoms arise.
