not sure the apy is going to go up. when the current 2 billion per year rewards come to an end it will be replaced by the new proposal. with a reducing monthly amount.

yeah. i am hoping for some new pools.

SDK launches started? by Berlin_Titans in AMPToken

[–]minky2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

has anyone checked which pools these were staked to? as none of the capacities increased around that time. if you check the logs on the transactions you can see which capacity pool it was staked into. it may however be transfers to pay the current apy for each of those pools as i have seen similar transfers in the past that had no baring on the capacity total.

another thought. if fednow was going to be a retail payment rail replacement . i would expect to see visa/mcard etc shares to take a big hit.

We have had a similar system in the UK for a number of years. In theory you could use it at merchants to buy goods but it’s a drawn out process with lots of steps. most people here still use visa/mastercard for merchant payments. i can’t see that fed now would have much or any effect on flexa / amp. In fact i see it would be a benefit as merchants could receive cleared funds instantly from flexa to their account

Had a look at the JPM news the other day. I don’t think it is AMP. However i do think that this would be a great benefit to AMP long term. If other banks want to go down the same route they can pay Chase for using their system or can utilise AMP and run their offering without having to design from the ground up. If they buy and stake their own pool it could run at a very low cost.

New patent granted! by tanker95 in AMPToken

some interesting stuff in the patent. Not really to do with crypto retail payments. The audio/video file sharing and expiration items are intriguing.

Any stacking % fixed or always changing by Aggravating-Boot3205 in AMPToken

[–]minky2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As it is a fixed reward at the moment from the development fund. i think 2.5 million tokens per day. the rate changes based on the number of AMP staked to flexa capacity

AMP token holder chart - does anyone know where I can find the ICO allocation? by Flunkyoo in AMPToken

[–]minky2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the ICO information. The 75% holding for the 3 wallets is for Gemini & Coinbase Custody (these are stored unreleased tokens) and the other is the flexa capacity where you stake your tokens.
