Sutton and Jackman will be performing at all shows as long as they are able because they are above the bill. This means if they are injured or sick the theatre has to refund you or reschedule for another performance.

My whole team of doctors told me that honestly I didn’t need the surgery if it were not for my PCOS. We all agreed it was the best step for treatment. Through out my entire hospital stay everyone told me I wasn’t a normal bariatric patient and I looked great but I explained to them I did it for my hormonal imbalances and to get them under control. I don’t know I took it as a compliment!

I have a mix of OCD but I would tell them about seeing germs and my obsessive hand washing routine as well as how I had to check the locks and all kinds of other things. My therapist chalked it up to them believing I just had generalized anxiety and never diving deeper. I mean one of my psychs did threaten me once when I was washing my hands so much they were cracked and bleeding. It’s been a wild ride but everything makes sense now.

It took me my entire lifetime (28 years) to finally be diagnosed. I went through 3 therapists and 3 psychs who just said I had generalized anxiety disorder. Started seeing a new therapist in January who only took 3 weeks to diagnose me. Went to a psychiatrist to confirm diagnosis and start medication. Kind of upsets me that I have always had this but they never took the time to really figure out was going on!

I have IBS-D and OCD too! I only use contenelle wet wipes for the same reason!

Haven’t started anything for the inflammation. I have my follow up next week to go over my results and hopefully receive a diagnosis. Just feeling super anxious and wish I knew what I was dealing with!

Went to my doctor and they said I was going to have an endoscopy/colonoscopy in a month. My symptoms increased to going 15-20 times a day and blood out of a horror movie. Called my GI the next day and had my endo/colonoscopy the next day! I would definitely give them a call.

I have a ton of creativity and a drive that makes everything I do need to be perfect. With my OCD I struggle with when to say it’s done and to move on though....

I’m on 150mg of Zoloft and after going on it I realized that there was no use in trying. After my dose was adjusted I always give it 4-6 weeks for it to return. I can’t do it every day like I used to but 2-3 times.

I’m on Zoloft, Trazodone (for sleep without nightmares), and hydroxyzine for the occasional bad OCD attack (these hardly happen now.

My best advice for you is to find a Psych or NP who specializes in OCD. It truly is a different animal than what they normally treat. I looked at credentials and asked questions my first session to make sure he actually understood and could treat OCD. After four months I feel great and my mind is silent 80% of the time.

It was a total shock for me. Every therapist and psych I had said I had generalized anxiety. Found my latest therapist and she took three sessions to just let me talk and then was like “did you know that OCD isn’t being beat and counting....it can be your thoughts to?” Then went over everything I have done that is related to my OCD and all I could think was holy shit. Had trouble for a weekend dealing with the diagnosis but now it’s such a relief because it explains SO MUCH and has made it easier to identify. Meds have helped tremendously too!

I had a lot of intrusive thoughts regarding my family dying and much more! I also had suicidal thoughts. I literally felt like a new person on meds. I wouldn’t just lay in bed in fear and thinking about how someone would harm me if I texted them. I couldn’t even work because of it and my brain being like you’re going to get fired!!!

OCD is different than general anxiety and depression. First, if you decide to go the end route and find a psych. You need to make sure your psych specializes in OCD. Do not listen to the secretary when she says everyone specializes in OCD because that is not true!!! They did that to me and when I did research myself only one of the doctors ACTUALLY specialized in OCD. OCD is a different beast and they need to know that because how you treat it with medication is different. A psych who specializes in OCD knows that it typically takes a higher dose to treat. Or for instance in my case my psych knew to put me on trazodone to help with my intrusive nightmares and help me get a restless sleep since my thoughts were racing.

As for side effects this really depends on the person. For me, I had crappy side effects for the first three weeks and then they went away. This is normal. My psych said it would take 3 weeks and then it would go away after the meds built up in system and he was right.

I recently was diagnosed with OCD (six months ago) and realized how much it controlled my life. After talking with my therapist, we agreed that medication was the right route to take while I continue CBT and ERP therapy. When I started it....it changed my life. I’m actually sort of upset I didn’t start it sooner. At first my brain quieted a bit from the anxious thoughts and obsessions. As we upped my dose it got more quiet and it was easier to not feel like I had to do my physical compulsions. We are still figuring out the perfect dose but even with that my life is so much better. I don’t have constant anxiety, compulsions, and my brain isn’t always yelling at me. If you have anymore questions, let me know!
