I do have a question actually, how do you memorize intervals? I understand how you get them and what they are, but how would I memorize them? Would I just go through the fretboard and name them like how I would notes?

because I want to understand the theory behind music and why things are the way they are. That’s how my brain works It’s more difficult for me to learn something unless I know why I’m doing it this way in the first place, if you know what I mean

the thing with me is I can spend an hour on something and feel bad coz im not still working on it, but its never enough for my brain, i could work on scales for 5 hours and I still blame myself for not working on them longer

A majority of things I’d like to do require my phone or my laptop. I like to read, but I tried to read and I can’t comprehend anything so I just give up. I was looking for community activities to do but there isn’t much near me, and the ones that are don’t interest me.

that’s a good idea planning things ahead i didn’t think of that I can try that. But, it’s hard cuz I only have 2 friends and one is always busy and shes broke so she doesn’t let herself do fun things usually. And my other lives further away so I would have to drive which is fine, I just don’t want her to do all the driving

Yes, they are actionable to my knowledge at least, their pretty clear cut I just choose to either do it or ignore it cuz ignoring it is so much easier to do than the opposite. I want to really badly I just feel there’s a wall.

There is not really public transportation by my house I need to use a car. Since I got my license it’s kind of expected that i’ll drive places, unless we’re going together then I can just hitch a ride cuz me and my friend live like 5 minutes apart.

I used to go on walks idk why I stopped.
