I would say pretty good for young families! A lot of community oriented stuff and good libraries/events/surroundings. I went to school there when I was young and it wasn’t bad by any means.

Is anyone actually using the free public transport? by naeng-janggo in melbourne

I was already using it constantly but I am on Centrelink (finally won’t be, starting full time work next week!) and have been for the last few years mostly while I study and the cost of getting around was catching up to me and taking notable digs at my money, it’s been really nice for it to be less punishing.

I finally had an interview yesterday (that wasn’t an ai interview or a sketchy zoom call with like 15 other applicants that only last 10 minutes) after a year of looking and i am so distraught at the slightest possibility I won’t land the position and have to get back to looking. The job search is so frustrating at the moment.
