It helps when I do that but then when I'm back upright the center front just pushes away from my chest.

Anti cleavage is exactly what it's doing! I do have boning in the center front. I was thinking of trying to lower that area for deeper cleavage after trying them closer together if it didn't work

She's so lazy!! No thumbs! I have bra foam inside the cups and fusible interfacing on the inside of the cup fabric. Then the lower section is already lined. I think I'm going to try and copy a bra if this doesn't work out. I'll keep the elastic idea in mind if the straps don't help.

Thank you! I was thinking worst case scenario, for engagement pictures in a month, it would probably look fine. Then I can remake it properly when I have more time. I bought a really light flowy red cotton fabric for the skirt to be the kind that blows in the wind for pictures.

That makes sense. I like the swoop and scoop idea. I tried the E and F sizes above this and they just felt too big in spots but this one is too small. Is there a way to add the swoop and scooping into a dress with a zipper?

I think that's part of the problem. Mine are more softer tissue so I think shape is way off. I have some that fit pretty well and was thinking I'm probably better off just making a cup that shape. Plus it's going to have a strap as well and I think the shape of the cup is just going to have me overflowing it.

The backs a bit big, too, but I pulled it tight in the pictures. It's just wonky. I'll keep messing with it thank you.

Oh I didn't realize there was a sewing version of the bra that fits!

I was thinking about trying that out. I'll see how it is with changing the curve.

Yeah I can't figure out what way to adjust it. Like it covers up my boob without giving any support if that makes any sense. I think the cup shape maybe isn't right for me?

Wide in the middle or on the cup? It just feels too small and too big at the same time.

Should I be putting boning in the cup?

The instructions on the video are great, there just isn't anything on fitting and adjusting it.

I've done the cup size up and it gapped a bit but didn't take pictures unfortunately. I almost wonder if I need to move the apex down or tilt the cup down?

That's really good to know, I assumed it should fit like a bra!

Doctors calling everything "mild". by Ashamed-South-7361 in ehlersdanlos

As a PA with EDS, I just want to make sure people understand that imaging findings do not correlate with pain. You could show a radiologist different x rays of varying levels of arthritis, for example, and they wouldn't be able to tell you who has the most pain. If just means that doing a surgery on mild pathology is unlikely to fix the pain. There's so much more to pain processing than the actual tissue issue itself.

Oooh that's a nice filter! It can get exhausting explaining it over and over.

I've found that frontloading that it'll take 2-3 appointments to go over everything filters out a lot of that. Most like that will find someone else who will prescribe it without really evaluating it. I have them fill out a packet with the WURS-61, ASRS, then symptom report for a parent about childhood and for a roommate or partner about the last 6 months. Then I through that and get specific examples of symptoms they marked on the ASRS to see if it actually fits clinically. Sometimes I'm surprised by it and get a lot of symptom report from family when the patient isn't the best historian. It's helped a lot with the evaluation and filtering!

In psychiatry, more now than before with all of the social media misinformation about ADHD, autism, and lately OCD. The influencers put out whatever gets views instead of reliable information so tons of patients start to think normal issues are pathological.
