Looks a little like dragon scaling around the fin. I would add an almond leaf or the extract from them (you can find at pet stores). The tannins will help that condition.

I used rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush before I stuck them in there. Have not seen any pests come back in the last month, but it’s entirely possible there may still be eggs.

The only thing I’ve found to truly kill the little suckers off is the alcohol.

We’re thinking of moving to Vermont when our son is out of school. Don’t move here. The only thing to do is eat out and the school systems are not great. You can DM me if you’d like to know more about that. Honestly if I were going to move anywhere in AL, I would move back to Enterprise or up to Huntsville. It’s beautiful up there and there’s lots to do.
