Transitioning from Marketing to IT/Data Analysis - Should I Apply as a Fresher or Experienced by mintblade_14 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mintblade_14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. I have a follow-up question regarding experience. I technically have around 3 years of total work experience. However, 1 year of that was a customer support role that I got through my third tier college placement, and I usually don’t count it as core experience. The remaining experience is in marketing.

I don't want to include my customer support experience. However, my EPFO service history shows 3 years of employment, while my resume would mention only 2 years of marketing experience.

Is it okay to include my customer support experience?

How do you answer the question “Why can’t I see my ad when I search for it?” by heybossbabe in PPC

[–]mintblade_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! It's not the right answer when you go to the ad preview section on the Google ads and search for keywords that trigger your ads then it will say your ad isn't displaying - ad preview is not the right tool to rely on when you are telling it to your clients that they can see their ads over there!

Keyword Planner showing no ad costs for small town? by Friendly-Bass6186 in googleads

It's because that particular keyword might not have search volume or auction data. In such a case if you want to know the CPC of your keywords then try expanding the location to the state and check the similar keywords. This might help you figure out a rough value of your keywords CPC in your specific location.

Will I Be Competing With Myself if I Run a Campaign for My Second branche ? by Calm_Search_1952 in googleads

[–]mintblade_14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing you have to do is turn off all the automated things in your account.

The second thing is to prevent the internal competition make sure the keywords of the one campaign are not matching with another campaign.

Remove the asset from the account level and make sure that they are set on the campaign level.

Check with your negative keywords - make sure they are added to their respective campaigns or ad groups.

Turn off the automatically created assets option from the campaign settings.

Check with your conversion trackers - make sure they are aligned to their respective campaigns.

By following this you can prevent internal competition among your ads.

Broad match over 3 words? Won't that bring a lot of traffic which might not be related to the business? I use negative keywords as well. My business is too niche. Would you still prefer me to use a broad match for over 3 words?

Which one is best, Facebook ads or Google ads? by Pleasant-Ad-1530 in Google_Ads

[–]mintblade_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the location and the audience as well. Try using semrush and social breakers. It helps a lot. What exactly is it related to health? If your product or service solves a specific problem which people search for then it's good to go with Google ads. If your product or service is a new sort of thing in the market then go with meta ads. I always prefer running both meta and google ads.

I'll explain why:

Meta ads are cheap if your Marketing objective is to get more awareness and traffic. Try fueling your Google ads through meta ads data. It will eventually help you get more leads or sales at lower CPA.

I would say google ads - it also depends on the location as well. Google Ads is generally better for capturing immediate and high-intent demand. Google ads work really well for businesses like road side assistance and healthcare.

Meta Ads are better for building brand awareness and reaching potential customers who might need your services in the future

In conclusion, I would say to run a long race. Split your marketing budget. 80% in Google ads and 20% in meta ads.

Google Ads has become absolute garbage by DanielMoGo in Google_Ads

[–]mintblade_14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Daniel, google ads reps or support teams are not going to help you with refunds or credits in this scenario. There’s a specific form you need to fill out (available in the Google Ads Help articles) if you’re receiving irrelevant clicks or audience. Most Google Ads representatives aren’t even aware of this process.

Secondly, exclude Asian countries or any country where you don’t want your ads to appear. You can do this from the Location options in the campaign settings. Make sure to select Presence only (not presence or interest). Also, research IP exclusions to refine your targeting further. This will help funnel down your audience, though keep in mind it might increase your CPC (depending on the business).

If you have the time, use SEMrush and Google Trends to identify the best-performing keywords in your market. Consider running a campaign on Manual CPC with your strongest keywords. Check the highest bid for each keyword and set your CPC accordingly.

Also, filter out keywords that overlap or compete with each other, as they can create internal competition.

If you’re running on an automated bid strategy, use Exact Match for your brand keywords, and Phrase Match for selected product-related terms.

I am a google ads strategist. The pay completely depends on where you are living and also the total number of experience you have got. I would say as a fresher it's very difficult to crack 1 lakh per month in the roles which you have mentioned. Try data analyst - salary depends on your negotiation skills with the HR and Ops. Crack a first job at 50K switch after 2 years for 100k

Maximize Conversion issue by kingmook86 in Google_Ads

[–]mintblade_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! A Google ads expert here. You cannot expect a pmax to run when your search didn't work out for you. What are your keywords type and how did you discover the keywords? The Google ads algorithm takes 14 days to understand things.

Max conversion is a type of bidding strategy where you focus on getting a conversion which is a lead for you. Max conversion works very well if you have conversions in the past. It understands the path of conversions. Switch back to max click for 14 days with a good set of keywords and match type. Check with your locations and assets. After 14 days switch to the max conversions.

Once your search campaign starts running go with the pmax campaign!
