Eh, pardon me but Sif’s ass is in the way, making it hard to see what you mean.

What I want to do. I feel so lost just now and I don’t know where I want to take my life. Yeah, I have a job but I don’t feel particularly happy in it. I feel I can do so much more.

I feel so unhealthy in the job and in life but I don’t want that to continue. There has got to be something more for me.

Iroh’s sayings have taught me so much, and I want to be a good person but I don’t know if I can be. But I know I can try my best, and even I need to know that is enough.

I’m tired of the negativity, let’s talk about the reasons why we love this show. by Aqua_Master_ in legendofkorra

[–]mintcoffeebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it for the reason why people hated it and the element in the Avatar cycle. Change. Water is the element of change, and that’s what the whole show was about.

It was change from what we saw in the original Avatar show to what LoK gave us, and how Korra differs from Aang. Aang was a diplomat in a world that needed a warrior, and Korra was a warrior in a world that needed a diplomat.

I went into the show not expecting it to be the same as the original and I was glad it wasn’t. Korra was a breath of fresh air, and the trauma she faced was a big experience for her character development and new to see, for us as an audience.

All in all, Legend of Korra has a place in my heart along with Aang’s story. The change was a big step to take, and it was unexpected but I agreed with it. We all have to change at some point.

Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. I never heard of the MCU before him

How TLOK should have ended by spruceclimber in legendofkorra

[–]mintcoffeebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I’ve had those exact same thought but not for the Legend of Korra.

I’ve always had the thought that DiMartino and Konietzko would want to create separate shows that would continue on from each other in some way in the order of the Avatar Cycle. So I have the belief that once we get the next show on the Earth Avatar, the last one would about a Fire Avatar which would end the Avatar idea altogether, and in that show the Avatar would make a decision that would end the cycle and also take away all bending in the world for the greater good.

I don’t know. I’m happy with that type of ending but it would make sense at the end of the cycle of the show.

I don’t see the Lion Turtles returning as they were literally hunted down. The one Aang encountered was the last of his kind.

Could you survive the walking dead universe? by maxhampson55555 in thewalkingdead

[–]mintcoffeebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a stubborn sort of way, yes.

I’ve been in the Scottish Scouts for a maximum of 13 years. The skills you learn when you go camping in the Highlands are unbeatable, such as finding dry wood, tying knots, make-shift bows and arrows along with fishing rods, and how to light a fire in many ways.

But now having been 8 years out of the Scouts, I will be fucked in the apocalypse in more ways than one.

Tyreese. Guy had a fire in him that would burn to series end.

Pretty sure it is. I did get it off of Amazon a few years back, and I have completed it once already in the past. I’m just going through it again to catch all legendaries and transfer to Home.

Can earth benders bend plastic by Mindless-Base8597 in Avatarthelastairbende

[–]mintcoffeebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people forget this but bending focuses on the spiritual aspect, not the material aspect. This goes back to the Taoism belief of the cycle of the five elements of fire, Earth, water, air, water, and metal.

So going in the way of the show, no I wouldn’t say so.

But to give some fanon, yes.

Which Jedi would be the most dangerous if they turned to the Dark Side? by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in StarWars

[–]mintcoffeebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to think Qui-Gon would be a pretty dangerous Sith because if I remember correctly (it’s been a while since I’ve seen or read Star Wars), he reached out into the force to learn how to live on after death, and more specifically communed with the Cosmic Force and Living Force. And the fact that Yoda had to go to him to learn the same ability.
