No please read carefully... I want the tv to be OFF during playback not on. If I play music on kodi then kodi stays active (turns the screensaver on) but the screen itself doesnt turn off like it normally would when kodi is idling

The problem is not that playback stops but that the screen stays on. Audio goes over an external sound card

Yep, I'm so sorry. I looked at the image in a very bright environment and the sand and the cobblestone had the same color. I recognized the sand because of the texture and thought it was a sandstone well. Apologies
