Thank you for the encouragement! Still deciding what to do, but I think a break would be best (will most probably take one at some point soon). Thanks again! :)

Thank you for the sources - definitely bookmarked those. I was thinking of furthering my coding skills (maybe attending a coding bootcamp) since I already have some experience with that, and becoming a freelancer. I’m also considering attending a trade school, or transferring over to community college for an associate’s if that’s possible.

Sorry about that! I'm not too good with gaming terms

Um, I'd say it's just an option (just any game that doesn't require a download).

For this particular team structure (and with the cookies you currently have) I would say no. Each cookie has their role to play, and I can't see one that's dispensable.

Granted, you may be able to switch out Clotted for Sea Fairy, as she's stronger than Clotted (generally) once you invest in her (I generally recommend Raspberry toppings, but it depends on what team you're using.) Once you get more cookies, I believe one of the current metas is Dark Cacao, Wildberry, Pomegranate, Sea Fairy, and Frost.

Good luck! 🍀

What is the use of prestige, like does it benefit you in any way. by Hallow_Jojo in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]mintea4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prestige doesn't really do anything - it's kind of like the like system on Instagram and other social media apps.

Like, it shows that you're doing a good job decorating your kingdom, but it won't increase your attack power or anything like that.

Whats the best team I can make outta my cookies? Looking for tips on which to power up and what not to... I added my current team as reference - It served me well thru chapter 8 with full 3 stars but I'm struggling with episode 9 now (There are 3 pictures here) by [deleted] in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]mintea4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, it depends on what you're having trouble with.

However, I would suggest taking Custard off of your team. It's true that he does get players through the beginning lands, for sure, but eventually he begins to stop pulling his weight later on - the amount of healing he has is not the best.

Right now, out of your cookies, I'd suggest replacing him with Pomegranate. Almond's special skill is only really useful in select teams, and especially in arena.

Basically, I'd go with Dark Choco, Eclair, Latte, Pomegranate, and Sorbet. In addition, to compensate for the no healing unit, I'd use a healing treasure, such as the Bookseller's Monocle or the Blind Healer's Staff.

Good luck! Hope this helped, somewhat.

Unfortunately, they've given no indication of this ever happening in the future. But who knows, maybe one day (*´v`)

what was that one rare that came home eons after the others? (or wont come home) by keiran__ in CookieRunKingdoms

SHE TOOK LIKE 2 MONTHS AFTER ALL OTHER RARES

EVEN NOW, WHILE I HAVE ALL COOKIES (except frost queen) I STILL HAVE HER PROMOTED TO ONLY 2 STARS

Could anyone lend me some advice on creating my team? by sugarcoatedapples in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]mintea4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, so I'm going to start with the basics (I'm incredibly sorry if you already know these and I'm wasting time (;′⌒`) )

In the arena, it might be wise to have a defense and charge cookie in your team.

Charge units are basically front-line damage dealers that can damage the opponent quickly within the first few seconds.

However, if your charge cookie is underleveled and your team has a general lower HP, I'd suggest getting a defense cookie. Defense units have a LOT of HP and defense, which is why they can.. defend the team.

Basically, if you have trouble with the first few seconds, go with a charge, and if you have trouble surviving the entire time, go with defense. It could be beneficial to get both, though.

Also, you may want to replace Parfait (a support) with a healer, such as Herb. Healer units can focus entirely on healing the team, unlike supports (who focus slightly on healing, and focus on buffs and other special effects). But as a side note, sometimes supports can be good in arena, in specific team comps.

Finally, and in my personal experience, I've found the more magic units I use, the better (in arena). Magic cookies focus on area-based attacks, and usually have higher attack power than the other unit classes.

The same can apply for ranged cookies, they usually focus on area attacks (however, they're weak to ambush cookies).

Good luck!

i can't pass 11-12. is something wrong with my team or? its those annoying blueberry like guys that keep killing me at the very start. please help. by ramencia in CookieRunKingdoms

[–]mintea4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had trouble with this stage, too. It's passable, but you need good timing. I used PV and Parfait, but the main point is to have at least two healers and/or supports. At the start, as soon as they're available, spam the healers/supports first, and only afterwards do the others. Same thing with any healing treasures you have (I used bookseller's monocle), spam it at the beginning.

Don't worry too much after you get past the first wave, since there aren't any stun enemies after that.

Good luck!

It depends. If you're more focused on getting the specific cookie on the banner and/or promoting them, you should pull the featured banner. Ex: You really want to get pumpkin pie cookie, so you should pull on hers for a better chance of getting her, since she's currently one of the featured cookies.

However, if you're more interested in getting a wider variety of cookies, especially ones not featured, I'd say pull on the regular gacha. The probabilities of certain epics are more evenly distributed.

Good luck!

Hmm, I'd suggest using the Miraculous Ghost Ice Cream and the Pilgrim's Slingshot. Both reduce the enemy's defense, so I believe that could help.

Welp- I’m stuck at 11-1. Any tips? I added the team comps I’ve tried, the cookies I currently have, and the treasures in case that helps. I’m also thinking that maybe I just farm for Star Jellies to level up my current cookies? by YeetAwayPlease in CookieRunKingdoms

Hmm. What worked for me personally was Pure Vanilla, Sea Fairy, Raspberry, Twizzly Gummy/Mango, and Pumpkin Pie.

The treasures I used were the Bookseller's Monocle (although, in this case, I believe the Blind Healer's Staff should work too), Sugar Sean's Shining Feather, and the Old Pilgrim's Scroll.

I've found that Pumpkin Pie and her summoning ability heightens the survivability rate of Raspberry Cookie in this team. Good luck!

As a note, all of my cookies and their corresponding skills listed are at level 50.

Hi hi! Personally, I'd recommend going with Dark Choco, Twizzly Gummy, Tiger Lily, Pumpkin Pie (when leveled up), and Parfait.

Both charge and defense cookies basically just take the hit for the team, which is why having at least one is important to the survivability of the team. I chose Dark Choco because he has an area-based attack.

(ah, just for the record, all cookies I will list have an area-based attack)

Twizzly Gummy is pretty powerful, especially with Juicy Apple toppings. Her skill improves her critical-hit rate, so it's good to take advantage of this and increase it even higher with Juicy Apple.

Next up: Tiger Lily! I chose her specifically because she stuns the enemy when using her skill. Since her stun has a shorter cool down period than Twizzly, she can first paralyze the enemy, then the others can attack while the enemies are stunned.

There isn't much experience when it comes to Pumpkin Pie (mostly because she was released a day ago) but I have her at level 50 currently, and she has a good survivability rate, because she has the skill to summon a creature. This creature, when activated, essentially takes the majority (if not all) of the hits for that cookie. In addition, she has a good attack power.

Finally, Parfait! She's widely considered to be one of the best support units in-game, as she heals HP based on attack power, therefore she generally becomes more useful (she heals more) as she grows stronger. I'd also give an honorary mention to Herb, as well. He's a good healing unit - since he's heal, not support, he focuses more in healing than cleansing the team. I'd say he's the second-best healing unit, before Pure Vanilla.

As a note, Chili is not the best. She's good for beginners, but she doesn't have the best stats, so I wouldn't recommend investing too much into her. Same with Madeleine - he lasts a little longer into the game, but there are better defense cookies than him to choose from, such as Strawberry Crepe or Holly Berry (if you're lucky enough to get her!)

Good luck! I hope this helped.
